Coastal Wedding Services is based on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. It is centrally located mid way between the major capital cities of Brisbane (Queensland) and Sydney (N.S.W.). With airports at both Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour catering for travelers from many domestic locations South West Rocks is ideally situated and is within 1 hour traveling time by car and both.

 Main Beach South West Rocks offers wide open sandy beaches ideally suited to those who want to feel the seclusion of an idyllic location. There are several pedestrian access points along this section of beach so your guests will have ease of access.

Back Beach South West Rocks offers that something different if you want your pets to be part of your Wedding Ceremony. This is a PET FRIENDLY area where locals and visitors alike like to take their dogs to let them run freely under the watchful eyes of their owners.

This beach offers breathtaking views back towards South West Rocks town centre. Access to this beach is by a footbridge over Back Creek and offers fantastic photographic opportunities for those couples looking for a unique photo for their wedding album.

Another of the favoured locations around South West Rocks Beaches is the small Easterly facing beach located in the Little Bay Reserve.

Little Bay Beach offers a combination of beach and rocky outcrops to highlight the spectacular aspects of this magnificent coastline. Not only does Little Bay offer the sand and surf option but it also offers wide open grassland set in the Hat Head National Park.

Kangaroos are frequent visitors to this reserve and offer that something different for the photo album.  Another aspect of this Reserve is the view from the headland near Overshot Dam, the original water supply for Historic Trial Bay Gaol.

The Gaol is set on Laggers Point and commands sweeping views over South West Rocks and north along the coastline towards Coffs Harbour. The beach at the foot of the Historic Gaol is very protected and offers several sites suitable for wedding ceremonies. The Staff managing this National Park are very helpful when prospective clients make enquiries regarding booking their wedding ceremony. Have you considered holding your wedding service in an Historic Gaol? All of this is possible at South West Rocks.

The warmer weather months are very popular for both tourism and Weddings so it is advisable to book early to ensure you get the selected dates you require. The grounds around the Gaol are National Park and cater for all aspects of the camper, from Caravan and tent sites on the waters edge. For further assistance regarding the National Park please make an enquiry and it will be forwarded to the relevant National Parks authority.

This beach has an access point from the Caravan Park and further along the beach so selecting an area away from other beach users is often possible. This location is a favourite among the local residents for their wedding ceremonies during the cooler months of the year as it gives them almost exclusive use of the beach and provides a stunning backdrop for their wedding photos.

The Headland (Point Briner) adjacent to the main street of South West Rocks maintains spectacular views in all directions. It offers ease of access to the entire bridal party as it is within easy walk from a number of accommodation alternatives but there is also ample car parking facilities for those who wish to arrive by car. The grass area around the headland is easily transformed into your own little piece of paradise for your wedding ceremony. There are several Wedding Planners available in the region to help with your wedding plans.

If you still haven’t found you ideal setting then perhaps the settings offered along the Macleay River may be to your liking. Your ceremony can be conducted at various sights along the river for those who prefer spectacular views over the river towards the cascading mountain ranges of the Great Dividing Range. This location allows the wedding party the freedom of the wide open spaces within easy reach of the comforts offered by the nearby town of South West Rocks. For the Fishing Fanatic there are several fishing charter operators in the area. For those with diving experience they could take advantage of the several world renowned dive sights within easy reach. Fish Rock dive site is located at the foot of Smoky Cape Lighthouse.

The views offered from the Smoky Cape Lighthouse sweep north towards Nambucca Heads then on to Coffs Harbour. To the south the beach runs endlessly through the Hat Head National Park to the Village of Hat Head and further south past Crescent Head to Port Macquarie. At the base of the access road leading to the lighthouse there is a well maintained park offering BBQ facilities. There are several entrances so the bride has the opportunity to make her grand entrance into an arena that will not detract from magic day with the several backdrops on offer.

This is just one of the several views on offer from this location. Once again you will need to contact the National Parks Office at Trial Bay to make a booking. The Smoky Cape Lighthouse cottages are also open to the public for booking. The proprietors Pat and Wendy will be more than helpful when you make an enquiry. Wendy is also a certified Celebrant.

If you are looking for that WOW factor then this is it! It is a favourite venue for many of the local photographers. If this outlook is to your liking then there is more on offer. Just to the right hand side of this photograph there is a small park offering shade for your waiting guests or to hold your perfect ceremony in.

For those with a wilderness liking perhaps this is the place you are looking for? The forests surrounding Yarrahapinni offer many secluded locations suitable for that wedding couple looking for that something different. There are several entrance into this park and all the access roads are un-bitumened but are accessible in the family sedan.

As you can see there is more to this MAGNIFICENT piece of the Australian Coast than just the SPECTACULAR beaches.
